Life Rescues First Success Story

Project Life Rescue’s first success story:

In March 2025, we hosted a group from Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado for an incredible two weeks in Uganda. They raised the funding for a medical clinic in Katanga Slum where we have not done a medical clinic for an entire decade and they were ready and excited to see us after all these years. at that medical clinic we met about four malnourished babies and Baby Michelle who had a hole in her heart along with pneumonia and a bunch of other illnesses that she was fighting.

That amazing group of students returned home, started a GoFundMe account, and raised $10,000 to save baby Michelle's life. The surgery was a success and we even had some funds for all her post-surgery Rehab and formula. By October 2026, Baby Michelle is back home, recovering nicely, and having an awesome childhood!  Thank you to everyone involved, especially to Gladys, our favorite nurse! Our friend Nina Hinds for coordinating the funding & taking all the calls! And to all the kids at Valor who dropped everything to follow God’s call.  Keep doing GOOD.
